    Loving this project. However, the video stops and goes. I wish the video would just play without the glitches.

      I will have my dev team look at this tomorrow. I am wondering if it is just some internet issues.

    Thank you for doing this!! It was such a fun treat every day. I am making the mini mistletoe wreaths as gift toppers. Hope you do it again next year!

    Lia, where is the SVG for the Winter Village? I’ve had a very bad week and I guess I need a little help. When I download it I only get the tutorial and the template. I accidentally deleted the download earlier (so lame). I really don’t want to cut this by hand.

      Hello Sharon, maybe download again and check the folder. There are three files there, including the SVG. It has been a very strange week, I feel you! Better days ahead. 🙂

        Lia, I’m thinking it is my laptop that has a problem. I’m taking it in tomorrow to have it checked out. Just wanted to let you know. Have a blessed Thanksgiving.

    I am confused about this project. First, I keep getting an error message on my Maker 4 that the file is too large and I have no idea how to make it smaller. I have reviewed the previous video for the Winter Village to learn how to set the score lines. In that video you state that the template is designed for 8.5×11 cardstock. The paper shown in the tree video appears to be 12×12. I cannot figure our how to set the score lines and print this out. I would prefer to use my 12×12 cardstock since that is what I have on hand. Please help. Thanks.

      @Sharon

      Yes, there will be an alert that this is a large image, but you can ignore this as you are cutting things in layers. You do not need to make anything smaller (unless you want smaller trees). The houses are made from an 8.5×11 watercolor paper. The trees are made from the 12×12 cardstock, and the files are set up for that size of paper. In the house video, I show how to open the groups in the right column, then select the group that will be the score lines, and select “score” in the top banner. Then you can select the group that includes the score and the cut, and click “attach”. Let me know if you still have questions.

        Thank you. I am always learning something new with this process and your fantastic site and community. Like, you need a scoring tool for Cricut! I don’t have one, but scored them by hand and it didn’t take too long. I also found that it took 7 sheets of paper for the large tree.

          Who would have thought! Lol. We use the scoring tool with cardstock projects, but not with all of them. I am glad you figured out a workaround.
          If you attach each of the groups, you will keep the pieces together. If you do not attach, then Cricut will spread them out for you. Which is why we love the attach option. If you watch the winter house video, I show a quick demo of how to attach.
