Our Cardstock Squash Vine is best suited for intermediate crafters who have some experience working with and assembling this material. However, if you’re a curious beginner, we fully support you in giving this project a try. After all, our handy tutorial will be there to guide you every step of the way. Using our guide, you’ll practice techniques like layering and curling that’ll bring your vine to life. Though you’re welcome to cut your cardstock pieces by hand — we recommend using a cutting machine to make things a little easier.
Celebrated for its role as a staple of the fall harvest, obviously, the humble squash deserves a spot in this month’s collection. In fact, gourds and squashes were cultivated by Indigenous peoples of the Americas thousands of years ago and remain an enduring icon of abundance, nourishment, and gratitude. Bringing these motifs into your seasonal décor is a lovely way to honor the spirit of Thanksgiving and the season's bounty.
When you're all finished with your Cardstock Squash Vine, use it to bring some harvest elegance to your Thanksgiving table. Additionally, it would look perfect on your mantel or mix it with other paper plants to create a lush, layered effect. The possibilities are basically endless, and we can't wait to see each and every one. So with that in mind, remember to tag us using the hashtag #MadeWithLia or upload your pictures into our bustling crafters' community.

@Nancy
Back to the TopDo you think this can be made nicely with double sided crepe?
I think it could, I would just split the leaves into six parts so it works with the grain line. I just asked Meagan to add it to our crepe paper list.
