Hosting a brunch this St. Paddy's day? Deck your table in good luck charms! Today we're sharing the pattern for these oversized clover placemats. Aren't they fun?
We've also designed some matching shamrock confetti for you to sprinkle to your heart's content. And, of course, we made some straw toppers and napkin toppers for you too. They just add a little something extra festive to the setting, we think.

Lucky Paper Clover

This paper clover is super simple to make and so versatile, too! We've included both PDF and SVG cut files for this project so you can resize the templates if you wish to make your clover larger or leave it cute and small. Feel free to mix up the number of leaves in your clovers as well.

Vellum Paper Clover Lanterns

We love these vellum paper clover lanterns that Krista designed with their slight nod to St. Patrick's Day. Because the design is so subtle, you could easily make them well before the holiday and keep them up long after, too.

As with most of our paper lanterns, we recommend using a cutting machine to help you cut the intricate details. Otherwise you can always use a detail knife to cut this project by hand.

Who's your lucky charm?
We love coming up with cute and easy St. Patrick's Day crafts for kids and adults! It's been a few years since we created an iron-on design for the holiday (remember our love clover shirt?) So we decided it would be fun to design a lucky charm iron-on for a kid's tee or onesie.

Ready to get started? We recommend using a cutting machine with our SVG file below. But if you want to cut by hand, then we suggest using printable iron-on transfer paper to transfer the design over to a white tee.

With St. Patrick's Day coming up, we thought we'd show you how to make a paper lucky clover plant that you'll want to keep in your home long after the holiday. Also, thanks to our friends at Aleene's, the project template and tutorial are free!

Below you will find written instructions and a photo tutorial plus a PDF template and SVG cut file to help you craft this clover plant. The template is simple enough to cut by hand, but of course you can always use your cutting machine to save some time.

Every year here in the studio, we create new projects focusing on the three-leaf shamrock clover and the lucky four-leaf clover. Here in our gallery of clover projects, you can find things to decorate your home with, to wear in your hair, or to use as fun little gifts for St. Patrick's Day. Today we're showing you a new DIY project—our felt clover plant, forever in bloom.

Also, a couple of fun clover vs. shamrock facts. While all shamrocks are clovers, not all clovers are shamrocks. Clover is the common name for a number of species in the Trifolium family. And as you may have guessed, trifolium means "to have three leaves." The three leaves of a shamrock are said to stand for faith, hope, and love.
