I LOVED it!! It was so much fun…the leaves were easy to wire because of the stem width and I loved using the steel ball to curl those little sepals! I’ll never try to cup these size sepals again by hand. I’m very spastic when trying to use a glue gun to create shapes, so I used the 6 mm spun balls for the flower centers and they came out quite well….not too big as the fringe covers them. Thank you for this beautiful spring project! It makes me happy to look at it 🙂

Thanks, Helene! There are so many varieties of strawberries out there. The reference Meagan used was smaller berries (some in my garden are 3x that size) with the darker seeds, but you can definitely make them with yellow seeds. As for the blooms, I have seen my plants have both at one time depending on the stage of growth, but again, you can customize your plant without the flowers.

I do want to make a couple of comments as I’m wondering if things are really different where you live to where I live in Canada. All the strawberries I have ever seen, and we pick our own every year, have yellow seeds on the berries. I believe you used a brown marker for the seeds. Is there a reason for this? Also, you have flowers on with full grown strawberries which doesn’t seem to sit right with me. When I pick strawberries I don’t usually see any flowers as they usually come before the berries do. Is there also a reason for this? Just wondering about the above. Thanks for all you do. Looking forward to viewing many more videos!!!
I was informed that this has a duplicate comment to a previous comment I left. However, that comment has nothing to do with this comment at all. I don’t understand this at all.

Hello Helene! We are doing our downloads just a bit differently now. Everything for this project is in one download, which is a zipped folder. Download this onto your desktop and simply double-click to unzip, and you will see everything you need there. Let me know if you have any issues.

I ran into a problem that I require help with. At the end of the pictures, where I would usually get downloads for everything, there was only one download and it said Tutorial and Templates. I usually cut the templates by hand, however, with this ‘new’ way of doing downloads, I can’t get the templates anymore. What happens to the people who don’t have a Cricut Maker just yet. Are we not going to be able to make this project? I’m quite disappointed in this supposedly quicker method, but who is it quicker for, not me.
