Moths donβt always get the love and appreciation they deserve. Believe it or not, some people even find them a little creepy! However, for us, that just makes them the perfect inspiration for Halloween crafting. Once you sit down to color or paint them, their natural beauty is undeniable. These Elegant Moths Printable Watercolor Pages show the ethereal charm of these creatures, giving you a chance to create something that feels both otherworldly and enchanting.
Your download includes three unique illustrations, giving you a variety of designs to enjoy. Print them on cardstock and color with pencils, crayons, or markers. If you'd like to follow along with Emily's video, then print them on watercolor paper. The finished moths are striking on their own, and if they turn out too beautiful to recycle, you can always frame them and display them as seasonal art.
These Elegant Moths Printable Watercolor Pages are a wonderful way to embrace the season β especially if youβre looking for a restorative activity that doubles as dΓ©cor. Leave a CommentI was wondering where the video tutorial is. Thank you. I love moths and this artwork is beautiful!
It is coming! π
The video is up!
will be great on a silk scarf – a hard decision: should I do watercolor painting on paper or silk painting on a soft light grey background
Yes! Share photos if you create the silk version!
These are so pretty. I wonder if, at some point, Emily would consider doing something like this as a watercolor artwork project?
Love this idea! I will suggest this to her. In the meantime, print this onto watercolor paper and give it a try. π
Again, pages printed way to light, can hardly make them out. What is the problem? Everything else printing dark and clear. I can’t spend money on color cartridges. Does that mean that I can’t print out patterns, coloring pages, etc.? I’d appreciate a reply. Thanks.
The coloring pages are black & white, so you should be able to print them just fine without a color ink cartridge. Can you adjust the settings to print darker?
I think moths are Beautiful! And They’re even cuter to me than butterflies because they’re all fuzzy. When i found a Lunar moth for the first time I was shocked at how fuzzy and adorable it was, not to mention its breathtakingly beautiful wings. Ive also found a gorgeous regal moth, they have the most vibrant oranges on their wings! And of course it was adorably fuzzy! I wish i could attach a picture I have of it so you could see, but anyways thank you for the beautiful coloring pages πβ€
Hi Shelby, we totally agree! Moths are so cute! You can always send us your photos or use the #MadeWithLia to share your photos!
We’re happy you’re enjoying the coloring pages!
