La vie en rose
We love our roses and are never running out of varieties to replicate. This project shows how to make three stems of felt wild roses using three of our favorite pinks. Like a true wild rose, these felt flowers consist of only five petals, each colored with marker and a touch of PanPastel to create an ombre of pink.
One rose and one bud look so pretty together in a vase. Or you can make more for a fuller arrangement. We would love to see your felt roses, so be sure to share them with us on our Facebook page for members or by tagging #MadeWithLia on Instagram.
Skill level: Beginner-friendly
Crafting tip: We recommend using a clear fixative spray at the end to preserve the color as well as to give a light hold to the petal shape.

How to Make Felt Wild Roses
- Gather your craft tools and materials. Then download the flower pattern on the right hand side at the top of this post.
- Cut out felt according to pattern using a Cricut Maker (optional) or scissors. The amounts shown in the PDF are per each wild rose flower or bud. We made a total of 3 rose stems, which used: 4 wild roses (2 in Rose Quartz, 2 in Blush felt), 3 rose buds, and 21 leaves.
- Glue and wrap the smaller stamen piece around the end of an 18-gauge floral wire.
- Trim the top edges to get a slightly rounded shape.
